Aleksandra Burczyk
President of the Management Board
Scope of management:
Leads the work of the Management Board, convenes and chairs Management Board meetings. Oversees all aspects of the Company's operations, particularly in the areas of organization and management, finance, accounting and controlling, legal affairs, security, media relations, auditing, internal control, and personal data protection.
Doctor of Chemical Sciences, author and co-author of publications in the areas of laboratory management, proficiency testing, forecasting and hard coal quality.
Graduate of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology at the Cracow University of Technology. She completed postgraduate studies in quality management at the Poznań School of Banking in cooperation with TÜV Nord (2007), MBA-structured management studies at the Warsaw School of Economics (2017), management studies at the Krakow School of Business at the Cracow University of Economics (2019), and management studies in Corporate Governance at the University of Economics in Katowice (2021). She holds an
IPMA-D project management certificate (2023).
She has completed numerous training courses in quality management in testing and calibration laboratories in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, in inspection bodies in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020, accreditation for proficiency testing providers in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043, and accreditation for reference material producers in accordance with ISO 17034.
She serves as a scientific, technological, and business expert for the National Centre for Research and Development, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Poland–Czech Republic, and the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Poland–Slovakia (since 2007); lecturer and researcher (Polish Academy of Sciences).

Sp. z o.o. (from 2020 to 2026). Member of the Council of the Cracow University of Technology (since 2021).
Director of the Quality Office at Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. (2020–2025), and subsequently Director of the Processing and Quality Office; previously Deputy President of the Management Board and Technical Director at Centralne Laboratorium Pomiarowo-Badawcze Sp. z o.o. (2012–2020). From 2006 to 2012, she held technical and managerial positions in the area of solid fuel research and natural hazard monitoring in mining. She held certification as an expert authorized to supervise mining operations.
